Well folks summer is over and the kiddos will be heading back to school tomorrow. When I was a child I would dread this day. I would get anxiety about returning back to school. Adults would always say "are you excited about school on Monday?". Of course I wasn't. Why would you even ask that? I would think. I think its a adults job to ridicule a child about school because that's what happened to them when they were a child. When is this cycle going to end.
My 12 year old niece happens to love school which I think is wonderful. If only I had that attitude when I was I child. I would fight my mother tooth and nail. One time I closed my right eye and told her it wouldn't open so I could stay home from school. She actually bought it.
I am glad that I'm not a child anymore so i don't have to endure this dreaded feeling of first day of school. I hope all of the kids have a awesome first day of school out there.
